Rob Blair for Sheriff

On January 18th, Rob Blair was unanimously appointed by the Berkeley County Commission to serve the unexpired term of Sheriff ending Dec. 31, 2024. On May 14th, Rob won the 2024 Primary Election by over 70% of the vote to become the Republican party’s candidate for the General Election November 5th. Rob needs your support and vote to help him continue to serve as the Sheriff of Berkeley County for the next 4 years.

Meet Rob Blair

A 35 year resident of Berkeley County, with deep roots in our community, Rob and his wife Mary Beth, a life-long resident, have 3 adult children: son Robby and his wife Esther, son Brady and his wife Sarah and daughter Lexy, as well as 2 grandchildren - William and Hazel. They have been extremely involved in their church and community for more than 30 years.

Rob has over 35 years of experience and training, with a large portion of his professional career in supervision/administration. He retired as Captain from the West Virginia State Police after serving 25 years and also was Troop Commander of the Eastern Panhandle|Potomac Highlands 7 county region.

After his retirement, he served 10 years as a Special Agent with the West Virginia Insurance Commission.

As your recently appointed Sheriff, Rob plans to use these valuable insights, lessons, experiences, community relationships / connections, and wisdom he has acquired throughout his career to carry out the important responsibilities of this office.

It is Rob's desire to move our county forward through unity, excellence, accountability and by doing the next right thing. Our campaign will continue to focus on bringing people together, with a foundation of honesty, integrity, professionalism and proven leadership.
